About Statheros Homeschooling

Statheros Homeschooling was founded in 2018 by Colleen Prayne after years of learning things the hard way and realizing she wasn’t the only mom feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn for honest, practical help.

What started as a simple desire to “fill the gap” for lonely, struggling homeschool moms has grown into a steady, trusted resource for families who want confidence, clarity, and real support—not pressure, comparison, or perfectionism.

From the beginning, Statheros has been shaped by one conviction:
When mothers understand their freedom and feel supported in their choices, their children flourish.

The name Statheros means steadfast, and that word reflects our mission— to provide stable, trustworthy support for homeschool families through education, coaching, legal homeschooling, and meaningful community resources.

 

What began in 2018 because one mom saw a gap—and refused to let other women walk this road alone—has grown into a steady, reliable source of confidence and clarity for families across Colorado and beyond.

• Statheros Homeschooling – education, practical tools, courses, and parent coaching that build confidence and strengthen purpose

• Statheros Academy – our private umbrella school providing legal compliance, records support, evaluations, and transcript guidance for Colorado families

• The Statheros Podcast – encouragement, perspective, and grounded guidance for the homeschool journey
