What is an Umbrella School?
​An umbrella school is a private school that sets its own policies for enrollment, testing, and evaluations, offering a flexible alternative to filing a Notice of Intent (NOI) under Homeschool Law. By enrolling in our umbrella school, you fulfill Colorado's legal reporting requirements under Independent School Law,
replacing the need to file an NOI.

At Statheros Academy, our enrolled families enjoy the freedom of setting their own schedules and customizing their homeschooling experience. We handle all the administrative duties for your homeschool, including securely storing your records, so you don’t have to worry about the paperwork.

Whether you want full support or prefer minimal involvement, we tailor our services to meet your needs. We support homeschooling parents from preschool through high school with report cards, transcript reviews, official and unofficial transcripts, and diplomas.
Plus, you’ll have direct access to our team for personalized support—no red tape, just real support.

Enrollment Information
Enrollment fees are charged per family, per school year.
​
A one-time new family administrative fee applies to first-time enrollments. Returning families who maintain continuous enrollment do not pay this fee.
​
Enrollment is valid for one school year only (July 1–June 30) and must be renewed annually to remain active.
​
Families with a lapsed enrollment may be required to pay a reactivation or new family administrative fee in order to re-enroll.
​
If your student is due for an assessment, enrollment requirements must be completed before final approval can be processed.
​
Please review each package carefully before enrolling to choose the option that best fits your family’s needs.
​
Processing takes 10 business days (excluding weekends, holidays, and scheduled office closures). You may expedite enrollment to have it processed within 24 hours (a $25 fee applies) during checkout.
