If you’re homeschooling in Colorado, consider the benefits of joining an umbrella school like Statheros Academy.

 

But what exactly is an umbrella school?

An umbrella school is a private school that sets its own policies for enrollment, testing, and evaluations, offering a flexible alternative to filing a Notice of Intent (NOI) under Homeschool Law. By enrolling in our umbrella school, you fulfill Colorado's legal reporting requirements under Independent School Law,

replacing the need to file an NOI.

At Statheros Academy, our enrolled families enjoy the freedom of setting their own schedules and customizing their homeschooling experience. We handle all the administrative duties for your homeschool, including securely storing your records, so you don’t have to worry about the paperwork.

Whether you want full support or prefer minimal involvement, we tailor our services to meet your needs. We support homeschooling parents from preschool through high school with report cards, transcript reviews, official and unofficial transcripts, and diplomas.

 

Plus, you’ll have direct access to our team for personalized support—no red tape, just real support.

Enrollment Packages

New families have a one-time administrative fee*: 

August- April $30 â€‹

May- July $20 

Prices are per family per year.

The values listed are based on a family of four.​

*You must maintain your enrollment consistently year to year to re-enroll. If your enrollment lapses for a school year and you want to re-enroll, you will need to enroll as a new family, which includes an administration fee, for us to reactivate your account. If you did not complete an assessment as required, you will be required to complete standardized test scores or complete an evaluation for us to process your enrollment. 

EXPEDITED ENROLLMENTS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED DECEMBER 13-18, 25, 2025, OR JANUARY 1, 2026.

1st time enrollment for new families has a one-time administrative fee of $30.

Prices are per family per school year.

Enrollment will be processed within 10 business days. If you would like it sooner, you may expedite enrollment within 24 hours for an additional fee of $20. After you select your enrollment package and submit payment, you will be asked if you want to expedite your enrollment, simply select "yes" to proceed or "no thanks" to decline.

* Each service has its own fee. Enrollment Packages give access to different resources. 

** Umbrella School meets legal reporting requirements for Colorado residents only. All other services are available to homeschoolers everywhere.
