The beauty of homeschooling is being able to create a unique learning environment based upon the needs and personality of each child. Michele enjoys helping others build upon the strengths of their family to create an environment where everyone thrives. The whole family matters in the homeschooling journey and she loves supporting and encouraging parents as they educate their children.

 

Michele's journey in homeschooling began in 2003 when she decided her oldest did not need to go to full-time kindergarten. She told herself she would take it a year at a time, and now, 20+ years later, she is still taking it a year at a time homeschooling her youngest two children.

 

As the mother of 5, Michele has been incredibly stretched and blessed by the homeschool journey. She has hands-on experience homeschooling boys and girlsShe is comfortable adapting curriculum for a variety of learning differences, such as: dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and auditory processing  challenges.

 

Throughout the years, she has taught in co-ops and homeschool pods. She has written several literature-based curriculums. Her curriculum and classes have been used to meet the high school needs of her children as well as several of their friends. Michele's strengths are teaching in literature, history, geography and worldview.

 

Michele has walked alongside her kids as they have apprenticed, gone into the military, taken concurrent enrollment class, launched into the workforce or gone off to college.
