Transcript Support Through Statheros Homeschooling
Every homeschool family’s path looks a little different—and because of that, transcript support at Statheros Homeschooling is offered through more than one pathway.
Some families participate through Statheros Academy as enrolled students. Others participate through The Homeschool Society as independent homeschool members utilizing our record-keeping and support services.
Because these are two different forms of participation, the transcript services available to your family may look a little different depending on which path you’re on.
The good news is this:
No matter which path your family has chosen, you have access to transcript support through Statheros.
Both options include guidance, transcript tools, and our complimentary resources to help you organize your student’s academic history with confidence—including our Course Description Guide and Transcript Compilation Workbook.
The difference comes down to how your transcript is prepared and issued.
Below, you’ll find the option available to your family based on whether you participate through Statheros Academy or The Homeschool Society.
High School Transcript options for Statheros Families
Option 1:
Transcript Generator
Included with
The homeschool society membership

This option is for families who want to create and manage their student’s transcript themselves using our transcript generator.
You’ll enter courses, credits, grades, and academic details directly into the system and generate a polished transcript on your own timeline. You can update it as your student progresses through high school.
This option may be a good fit if you:

Transcript format:
A clean, professional transcript created by you using our generator. This version is not issued on Statheros Academy letterhead.
Sending Transcripts Through Parchment
Both transcript options include access to Parchment for secure transcript storage and delivery.
When your student is ready to send a transcript to a college, university, scholarship organization, or another institution, transcripts can be sent directly through Parchment.
Please note: Parchment charges its own delivery fees when transcripts are sent. These fees are paid directly to Parchment at the time the order is placed.

This option is for families who would like Statheros Academy to prepare the transcript for them.
You provide the academic information, and we handle the formatting and transcript preparation on your behalf.

Transcript format:
Official Statheros Academy transcript prepared on Statheros Academy letterhead.
Course Description Requirement
For all high school transcripts, a course description is required for every course listed on the transcript, regardless of which transcript option you choose.
Course descriptions are an important part of the academic record. Colleges and universities may request them to better understand the rigor, content, and scope of a student’s coursework.
Each course description should clearly explain:

the topics and material covered

the scope and level of study
-
major textbooks, resources, or curriculum used (if applicable)
-
important projects, labs, papers, or significant assignments completed
Course descriptions must be thoughtful, detailed, and written in a professional academic format.
Please note:

Brief summaries or one-sentence descriptions will not be accepted

Incomplete, vague, or low-detail submissions may be returned for revision before the transcript can be finalized

Families are responsible for writing and submitting course descriptions for each course
If you are using the Transcript Service, your transcript cannot be completed until all course descriptions have been submitted and approved.
We strongly recommend writing course descriptions as each course is completed rather than waiting until senior year. This makes the process much easier and ensures important details are not forgotten.
