Since 2012, homeschooling has been the center of my life and the top educational choice for my family. I’m an eclectic homeschooler and a third-generation Colorado native, now living in the Kansas City area, and I’ve had the privilege of walking this road from the early years all the way through high school and into young adulthood. My husband and I have raised three boys through this journey—the oldest graduated in 2024, the middle will graduate in 2026, and the youngest will graduate in 2027. All three have completed various college-level courses, each in ways that reflect their own strengths and aspirations.

Watching them grow into their callings has reaffirmed everything I believe about homeschooling. Our oldest is now pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition. Our second is preparing for a double major in Filmmaking and Animation. Our youngest is exploring a future in Criminal Justice, hoping to follow in the footsteps of his father and close family friends. Each path is different, yet each has been shaped by the freedom, flexibility, and family-centered rhythm that homeschooling makes possible.

Statheros Homeschooling was born out of this lived experience. I created it in 2018 because I know firsthand what it feels like to want the best for your children while navigating uncertainty, questions, and the weight of making educational decisions that truly matter. When I began homeschooling, I didn’t have the kind of support I desperately needed—and I felt the loneliness, doubt, and overwhelm that so many parents quietly carry. I built Statheros to fill that gap. I never want any homeschooler to feel alone. I want you to know you always have someone to turn to, someone who understands the journey and is ready to walk it with you.

Homeschooling isn’t just an educational choice—it’s a way of life. It nurtures curiosity, strengthens family bonds, and creates space for children to become self-directed, capable young adults. At Statheros, our mission is to make that path sustainable for every family that desires it. We provide many services, including fulfilling legal reporting requirements for Colorado homeschoolers, performing record-keeping,  high school transcripts, professional evaluations, high school diplomas, and parent coaching- all designed to remove fear and confusion so you can focus on what truly matters: meaningful learning and a strong family connection.

In addition to supporting homeschool families, I help families rediscover something that often gets lost in the daily rhythm of homeschooling: the joy of pure, uninterrupted family fun through travel. Homeschoolers spend so much time learning, guiding, and managing the needs of everyday life that true family escape—free from responsibility, decision fatigue, and the constant multitasking—is rare. That’s why I focus exclusively on planning family trips that let parents and kids step away from the grind and simply enjoy being together.

I help families create magical, memory-rich getaways to places like Universal Destinations & Experiences®, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort, Disney Cruise Line®, Adventures by Disney®, and National Geographic Expeditions®. These trips give families a chance to reconnect, laugh, explore, and experience the world without the constant weight of responsibility. Helping families make those extra-special memories is one of my greatest joys.
